Base is a company that develops renewable, innovative and profitable energy solutions to contribute to a more sustainable society. These solutions are based on the design and development of Cogen'Air technology, the first Thermovoltaic solar panel, capable of producing electricity and heat simultaneously. The heat emitted by the solar radiation is transferred to the back of the panel and recovered using an efficient heat exchanger system. The hot air then recovered can be used both for heating and energy efficiency in buildings as well as for drying materials (wood, fodder, waste...). From an energy point of view, this panel is 4 times more efficient than a standard photovoltaic panel and produces 10% more electricity. After starting to market its products to individuals via its website, Base undertook a strategic shift in 2015. The company is now focusing on the sale of tailor-made Cogen'air power plants to local authorities, companies, farmers and private groups.
