Great news! LITA.co is now approved as a European crowdfunding service provider (ECSP).This new regulatory framework will allow us to further develop our role as a pioneer and leader in impact investing in Europe, with our presence already established in Belgium, France and Italy.
What does it mean for LITA.co, and for you as an investor? Let's take a look!
What changed 🔎
- Better protection for novices in unlisted investments thanks to the distinction between two profiles: sophisticated and non-sophisticated investors.
- Each investor profile enjoys a tailored registration process, with greater awareness of risks for the non-sophisticated and a lighter registration process for the more sophisticated investors.
- Non-sophisticated investors can use a simulator to estimate their maximum possible annual investment amount.
- A new cooling-off period of four days after signing the subscription form allows non-sophisticated investors to withdraw their investment at no cost.
- With the introduction of stricter internal controls, the industry is becoming more professional and platforms are becoming more robust. Platforms are also required to comply with a solvency ratio to ensure sufficient equity to cover structural costs.
What hasn't changed 🧬
While LITA.co's accreditation has changed, our convictions, values and determination have not. Our mission:
- A thorough financial and extra-financial analysis process.
- A 100% impact selection of companies active in all key sectors of the social and ecological transition.
- A wide range of crowdequity and crowdlending investments.
