Pitch
Important
The persistent disagreements between the two founders prevented the company's project from succeeding. A pioneer in its field, the company faced challenges from the outset due to consumer habits, declining purchasing power, and a significant post-COVID drop in the trend towards responsible consumption. The company failed to find a sustainable business model, and in light of the management difficulties, the decision was made to liquidate, which allowed for part of the initial investment to be repaid to the shareholders.
Presentation
Marie Poppies is the short circuit solution for flowers. The company gathers the existing offer of Belgian eco-responsible horticulturists by developing direct and digital distribution channels. They sell this production to florists via its online sales platform. Soon, they will also reach individuals by offering them sustainable Belgian bouquets made by their local florist.
Traditional cut flowers are a disaster for the environment (heated greenhouses, pesticides, transport...) but Marie Poppies has more than one trick up her sleeve to create an alternative consumption model.
Want to support the Belgian ecological cut flower industry and let it flourish? Become a shareholder of Marie Poppies now during this first financing round.
