Presentation
As a major player in the circular economy of the construction industry in the Paris area since 2017, Les Ripeurs responds to the lack of ecological solutions for managing construction waste. Indeed, 46 million tons of waste are rejected each year by the construction sector, a third of which have no recovery solution. Otherwise, this waste is buried or often dumped in illegal dumps that pollute the soil. The Ripeurs logistics services platform offers to collect all types of waste from construction sites and transport it to the nearest waste collection center partner, to be recycled as raw materials. The company has already worked on 25,000 construction sites, for 50,000 operations, and more than 150,000 tons of waste have been collected and recycled from some 60 partners. Fully integrated into their ecosystem, Les Ripeurs works with key partners such as several subsidiaries of the Saint Gobain group (Plateforme du Bâtiment, Cédéo, Sfic, Asturienne) and Kiloutou. In a context of sector shift, the company has experienced stable and sustainable growth (+125% since its creation), rising from a turnover of €6 million in 2021 to over €9 million by the end of 2022. After an initial fund raising of €2M in 2019, Les Ripeurs wishes to accelerate its growth with the support of a €3M refinancing. This fundraising is split between the participation of the impact fund Alter Equity, historical shareholder, for €2M, and that of LITA.co investors for €1M in convertible bonds. These funds will enable the Company to reach its balance, invest in new low-carbon trucks, conquer new French cities, and finance its international expansion (expansion abroad), with a view to a second round of financing (series B) planned for the end of 2023.
Invest in the heart of the construction industry circular economy to reduce emissions in a changing sector and accelerate waste recycling!
